Lightning strike at Anglesey cottage

When a lightning strike hit the chimney, Mr & Mrs Winbolt’s traditional cottage in Anglesey caught fire and was completely destroyed. Bedfords Surveyors were appointed to oversee the demolition and rebuilding of the property.

Mr & Mrs Winbolt’s new cottage is delightful: it sits within the original footprint but is now a modern, airy and open-plan property. Through better use of the roof space, an additional bedroom was created, while a small single-storey extension to the kitchen was added. Bedfords managed the project through from demolition to completion.
